SEND stands for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are defined in the Code of Practice 2014 where it is stated that "A child or young person has SEN if they have a learning difficulty or disability which calls for special educational provision to be made for him or her"
Our SENDco (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator)is Sarah Kriskovic. She is responsible for the day to day operation of the SEND policy. If you have any questions about SEND please contact lostwithielsenco@los.celtrust.org

Every pupil has access to the support required to enable them to achieve their highest potential and address underachievement. Procedures for managing behaviour and discipline are fair, effective and equitable.
In the rare event that parents have a concern about any aspect of their child’s education and general welfare, communication with the school at the earliest opportunity is encouraged to resolve it.
Parents are asked to contact the appropriate Teacher or the SENDCo or the Headteacher directly.
Governors are also available to parents if they wish to consult them. Our SEND governor is Dr S Gould sgould@gov.celtrust.org
