School Lunches

At Lostwithiel School our children have the choice of a packed lunch or a school meal.

School meals are cooked on site by Mrs Jo Brown and run by Chartwells costing £2.65 a day; meals must be booked and paid in advance using our online payment system at https://www.parentpay.com/ Please contact the School Office if you need a copy of your username and password for this system, or if you have any questions.

For the 2023/2024 academic year, all children in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal every day due to their age. These meals will still need to be booked in advance via ParentPay and this will be provided to them free of charge.

If your child is in Year 3,4,5 or 6 and you are in receipt of certain benefits, your child may also be eligible for free school meals. If you think you might be entitled to this, please complete the online form, the link is shown below as Cornwall Council free school meals application. A paper version is shown below Application Form for Free School Meals and Pupil Premium'.

Please note that if you have a child in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 and your family income is less than £16,190 per year, or you are in receipt of certain benefits listed on the form below, your child's school may be eligible to receive an additional £1,345 per child. This money is known as Pupil Premium. This will help to find valuable support like extra tuition, additional teaching staff or after school activities. In addition, parents are only required to pay a smaller percentage of school trip fees (including residential trips) for children who are eligible for Pupil Premium. If you think you may be eligible, please complete the form above or contact the school office for further assistance.
