At Lostwithiel Primary School we aim to ensure a high quality physical education and school sport experience makes a positive impact on young people’s physical, social and cognitive development, their well being and achievement.
In order to do this the school has reflected upon the opportunities it provides children and sought to offer a more structured and increased range of physical education activities throughout the school day. Alongside our PE curriculum, we have dedicated after school club sports provision run by 'Go Active'. Children have weekly Forest School sessions as part of our healthy curriculum offer.
Our PE curriculum offers a wide variety of physical activities including scoot and skate sessions, fencing and more focused games such as hockey, tennis, basketball and cricket. Please see the PDF document below to find the breakdown of how the PE Premium has impacted our pupils.
